Biography

Dr. Usha is a highly experienced legal practitioner and industrial relations advisor with over 20 years of experience. She has extensive expertise in advising employers on complex industrial relations matters, dispute resolution, collective bargaining and employment litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Usha served with the Malaysian Employers’ Federation (MEF) in a senior leadership role where she led advisory services for employers on a wide range of employment matters. She also previously managed her own legal practice focusing on employment and industrial relations litigation.

In addition to legal practice, Dr. Usha is actively involved in academia and professional training. She has served as a Senior Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University Malaysia, and previously lectured at Open University Malaysia and Berjaya Business School, teaching subjects including Business Law, Labour Law, Medical Law, Retail Law, Company Law and Hospitality Law. She is also an ELITE@UM Fellow at University Malaya.

Khor focuses her practice primarily on family law matters, including divorce proceedings, child custody, adoption, and citizenship-related applications. Leong Mun Ping

Biography

Leong commenced his legal career at Messrs Dennis Nik & Wong, where he acquired substantial experience in matters relating to company liquidation, thereby establishing a firm foundation in the areas of insolvency and corporate restructuring. He was also attached to Messrs Sri Ram, where he trained under the guidance of the late Justice Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram, and had the opportunity to attend proceedings in both the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.

He has since cultivated a broad and multifaceted practice encompassing banking and commercial litigation, including bankruptcy proceedings and complex contractual disputes. His practice further extends to debt recovery and disputes arising within corporate settings, as well as insolvency-related matters, including post-winding up proceedings. In addition, Leong regularly handles matters relating to PERKESO claims, wherein he has successfully secured favourable outcomes on behalf of his clients.

Siew Yi Jin
